High Interest Day

On Friday we had our PTO sponsored High Interest Day. We had a terrific time participating different fun classes like sushi making, hockey, yoga, soy candles and more! Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who made this day possible. Be sure to ask all about the classes your child chose today!

Behavior Review Game

We had a lot of fun playing a team game to review our school wide behavior expectations! The teams had to select a category (place in our school building or bus) and then a point value for each question. The teams knew so much about being safe, respectful and responsible in our school, that they ended up in a tie!

Muffins with Mom

On Friday we enjoyed some special time with our moms and grandmas at the PTO sponsored Muffins with Moms. What a great opportunity to socialize and let our moms know how much we appreciate them!

Washing Rocks

Today, the first graders observed different things that happen when you wash rocks. They discovered that some get darker, some show new colors, some bubble and some make the water cloudy. 

Word Study

Today the first graders worked on identifying words that can be made plural by adding -es.
