Kids Helping Kids Ribbon Walk

On Wednesday all of the students of Brookfield Elementary participated in the Ribbon Walk to Support the MACC fund. What a beautiful day we had and what a wonderful opportunity to give back to our community!

Bike Safety

Today, Officer Carol from the Brookfield Police Department came and talked to us about bike safety. Remember to check to make sure all bike helmets fit properly, bike tires are inflated and all chains and reflectors are in tack. Happy biking season!

School Bus Safety

Today we attended a presentation by Brookfield Central Key Club members on Bus Safety. Each child received an informational booklet, and has the opportunity to create their own bus safety poster for a district wide contest. Please return posters no later than Monday, May 13th. High Interest Day

On Friday we had our PTO sponsored High Interest Day. We had a terrific time participating different fun classes like sushi making, hockey, yoga, soy candles and more! Thank you so much to all of the volunteers who made this day possible. Be sure to ask all about the classes your child chose today!

Behavior Review Game

We had a lot of fun playing a team game to review our school wide behavior expectations! The teams had to select a category (place in our school building or bus) and then a point value for each question. The teams knew so much about being safe, respectful and responsible in our school, that they ended up in a tie!
